On my red project 1.0. I have put a full omp international 6 point cage, I went for this one, as I can fit the complete mint gte interior around it, unbolt the diagonal, and have a 4 seater car!

However, I really really want a stripped out car!

What should I do?

Im swinging for the gte interiorlol

Cage is staying 100%, If it goes off, I want to climb out of it:thumb:

Having full spec rocks. Simple as. But you want a stripped car so strip it.

One or the other. A mix of both is wrong.

Without proper harnesses, a cage is an added danger anyway.

Maybe that is the decider?

Its being harnessed, but, why would extra strength be a danger?

Craig means if you have a cage with standard seatbelts you are more than likely going to stove your head in on the cage when/if you turn it upside down.

I've stripped all of mine out even the dash. looks very tidy still especially after hiding and extending all the wires. However, its bloody freezing now so you might regret it.

No way am I taking dash or sound deadening out!

Its being a comfy sunday driver!

To take out in summer and winter, and hoon about like a loon, then put it back in the garage! LMFAO

Im keeping the interior and gonna put it all back in when the cage fitting is finished:)

I had ice for about 2 months lol

Got bored, then started blowing speakers up etc! So sold it all:)

Im 100% going for the "Standard" interior plus cage look:)

If you're just going blasting around on a sunday then a full spec interior i would say is going to be the best thing.

Wereas if the car is getting some severe track use and you want to keep weight down etc then strip it. I think stripped out on normal british roads will do your head in personally.

I had a fully stripped out nova for 2 years as a daily driver was and awsome machine if you don't mind a bit of noise. Also very light. but as you said you want a comfy cruiser to go about in so you answered your own question. stripped is not comfy. If you do don't take the heater out unless you get a heated from screen.

Its got a gte top tint screen!

Also, i would never remove a heater, as when the temp goes up/im hammering it, i put the heater on to cool it down!

Also, The "Birds" dont understand stripping it out!

sooooo, Its a cage, and full gte interior for me!

I think if i had a choice id rather smash my head off the roof/sun visor, than a steel metal tube...... :thumb:

sure, but if you roll it with harnasses and no cage youre not liking it ;)
normal seatbelts let you lean to the middle of the car, and in harnesses you only have a few centimeters and you aint going anywhere when the roof comes crashing in..

imo there's no middle road. stripped out with cage and harnasses, or full interiour.

stripped out but if its a daily driver id keep the interior! Just go with what you like...its your car noone can tell you what to do with it.

good luck with what ever you decide to do though
