Would this fit on a mk2 1.2spi's original pipework

Yes, but they don't go streight on, you need to make a mount etc!

Is a nova 50mm?

i thought they used a 50mm round clip thingy so i took it as it will fit, as for for the mount i will just cut my one off the original back box and weld it on the cheery bomb so it will fit into the bracket

Surely it makes more sense to buy a Nova specific tailpipe/backbox than a universal silencer?

Even a Peco BB4 is better than a Cherry Bomb.

custom chrome are the manufacturers of cherry bombs btw.

Probably what you need for tuning a crappy old Mini & A series engine.

why would a nova specific back box be better than a cherry bomb exhaust they've been around for years within the performance area, its only a 1.2spi i was just thinking about them as an allternative to the more expensive brands such as sportex

if you cant afford a decent or ok second hand specific exhaust for your nova i wouldnt bother

so what brands will just go onto a mk2 1.2spi

right i have a cherry bomb on a carb'd 1.2. it was free and i was bored so i thought why the hell not. it did bog all for performance, is far too loud, but looking at the other end of the scale i dont use the car daily and once its warm all i do is keep backing off the throttle to hear it burp and fart. other than that, there are far better options out there

Same reason people put xe's into novas?

To be differant?

Or to "Customise" the vehicle?

IMP there crap, i would spend your money on a 3" inward sportex box, much better.

lol lol lol I have to agree. They sound nice & smooth with a std pipe, though young drivers do have issues with the girth Vauxhall blessed them with, so dress it up with chrome & the illusion of more power through awful noise.

We have all been there, at 17 a BB4 was on the top of the list for a 1.1 fiesta! lol
