Seems to be another one as there was one where a guy did it with a Lolvo oe wheel, and someone commented on here, thats more of a fail as the wheel he cut off was worth miles more than the aftermarket tat he has fitted afterwards lol

no it's not.. we did this to a 106 last month.
tried it all, welding, drilling etc etc.

the owner decided to use the grinder... who am i to dispute that:d

Nah it's def the Golf one mate. Don't know of this other. Wonder if the wheels were the gay split 5 spoke Leo's that everyone w@nks over lol. Pics. :d

we do it in work quite alot works every time :D

this is yet another prime example of why you should never use an air gun to do up locking wheel nuts, or non locking nuts for that matter

why not just hit a extension or slightly smaller fitting tool inside and turn it until either the locker key comes off or it undoes the bolt!

Thats how i always get them off.

Anyone else notice other than the wheel he said he used a titanium tap... fook me that must have been expensive. Also he said his drill bit was brass...

I think we can definatly chalk this up as an epic fail!
