Bubba's Rather Thrilling and Stressful Day

Today started good, i got up and went to the scrappy, then it went down hill very fast. i walked back to the car to notice my light had no glass, had fallen out at some point :mad: :mad: so i thought id go n put me quads in...then it went down hill very fast.

my lenses are all H1s and i have lost two of the bulb holders so they can only take H4 atm. this made the beam aim nice and high, i was lighting up the sky :mad:

so i chopped the loom and put in my old H1 lense on one side, so now i have 1 spot and one hedge illuminator!! AND my MOT is due on wednesday. needless to say im incredibly stressed and annoyed


on a plus side, i got a full boot spoiler, wrap around type, from this little gem

Sure you've got the lamps in the right way round? A H4 bulb on dipped should give the same pattern of light as a H1 in the same housing. Orrr have you got the H4 bulb in upside down? lol

nope, they actually work better upside down, i did check that :p guna bung the other H1 in tomorrow and just have dipped for now, cant book it in for MOT as my suspension hasnt arrived yet.

Oh and ive just been offered "a nova" which i do believe is a rather rotten GTE which my mate purchased for the grand sum of £3

they fell apart on the way to the scrapyard :( the glass just fell out

that gte would pass an m.o.t where i used to go years ago lol and the door looks good in the scrappies.

still had the gte rear bumper on it at the scrappie, apparantly it was one that was caught with no insurance, and the roof/pillars were crushed at the scrappie so it couldnt be sold on

Have the GTE, if the front and rear bumpers are Ok (plastic doesn't rust, win lol), sell them for a good 200% profit on that £3 straight off lol

I'm inclined to agree :( not a fan of those ones at all I'm afraid. What lamps do they use? I'm sure I have a spare set of Cibies in my garage...

H4 outer and H1 inners, but ive taken the inners out and im after a set of H4 outers ;) ;)

I'll have a look in my Aladin's Cave tomorrow. Pretty sure I have two pairs of outers, plus a pair of inners.
