Which dash?

Is it worth swapping a Mk2 (grey) dash (though it's been colourcoded to match car in some places), for a Gsi (black) dash?

Which would look better? I can't decide. Most cars already have black dashes anyway, so the light grey with blue colourcoded bits looks pretty good as it is i guess, but someone's offered me a Gsi dash and i'm not sure whether to fit it or not.

Oh, any chance of pictures (or links) to help me compare? Too lazy to look through the feature cars.

I think a black dash probably would look better, since i've got a carbon fiber steering wheel and door cards (still on the way, where the fuck are they E.R.!? - might fit alloy chequerplate one's instead then?), although all the other interior panel things will still be grey. :|

Just not sure if it's worth the hassle removing the whole dash, just for a colour change.

Yea, you can have my MK2 grey one, i will get the black one now.

I won't be able to swap them round for two weeks though. I'll PM you when i've removed it to see if you're still interested mate.

I have the grey SR dash in my car. I'm going for a black/grey look to my interior, so it fits in with the colour scheme nicely. If the current dash doesn't fit in with what your trying to do, then change it. However, it's a lot easier to change door cards and other parts of the interior than chaning the whole dash. It's up to you at the end of the day.

This is my interior anyway, ignore the red gearknob, it's been replaced now :)
