12nz/13s alternator

trying to sort the alternator out on my brothers corsa (c12nz) as the bearings have gone. i've got a spare off my 13s and it fits fine yadda yadda yadda. testing it, and with ignition on there is no battery light (bad thing?), car running still no batery light (good thing).

being the fool i am i dont know if it worked with ign on beforehand, just want to know if its going to be charging, my multimeters brokted so i cant do a proper test...

Checked the bulb on the alt warning light?

mind you, I think thats part of the circuit? So if the bulb is popped it won't charge...?

dunno, if it breaks down on him i know its funked, time will tell lol

if the battery light isn't coming on when the key is turned, it could be the bulb (as stated above)
