Funny how our workshop get busy at lunchtime. All our cars come in for the routine modding/cleaning.
Our service manager says that if we worked as hard all day as we do in our lunch hour we would all be minted :D :P

A few pics from today, feel free to comment.

Ali washed is GTI-R

Greig fitted yet another set of brake pads to his Ibiza (goes through a set about once a month) and shows off his new SEAT Sport suspension (Bilstein 1" 1/4 Dampers)

Then we all go back to work, enjoying the sunshine

LOL you have got damn god eyesight as the only pic i can see of the seat is under the front arch, i pressume either im missing a photo or your refering to the NISSAN GTi R, wich is a sunny, unless you can afford to buy/ insure one of GTi R's dont bother as the base models are shite. And the GTi aint cheap.

just a point, i detest the Sunny GTi R's but that one looks very nice in that colour with those wheels etc, a very nice example.

And another point... I like the red towing eye, i think it looks smart like that.

The only reason you can see the toe eye is that Ali refuses to pay the ?70 for the plastic cover.
The Sunny is now running close onto 350bhp thanks to a hybrid turbo me and Ali fitted a few weeks back which is awesome to say the least.
He is looking to sell it sometime soon I think, will be up for sale at around ?5-6k. Insurance aint cheap though, hes paying ?1,800 a year for it!!!! And hes 24 with a clean license.

Just tell him to paint it then! And get some clear side repeaters! Will make a subtle difference at very little cost!

?5 to ?6k? That's a VERY good price.

Insurance might be a lot, but it doesn't really matter though. You can pay in instalments. And you can spend double that a year on doing up some shitty little car, and then end up losing it all when it comes to having to sell it anyway.

Is it? I guess i haven't realy looked lately. Last time i looket at GTiR's, they were around ?7k to ?8k for 'decent' ones. Though it was around a year ago.

Nice cars. Ugly as fuck though.
