Hi,

What is the best way to go about finding a unit? I have tried good old google but it keeps giving me units that are about 20,000 sq ft, which to be honest would be nice but a bit pricey!

My double garage was ok for space but it leaks and is getting cramped with parts so im getting rid of it and having my garden back.

Thanks

Richard

well there is 3 or 4 of us wanting one so may look at getting a unit with space to work and somewhere for a kettle ;-)

Just drive around local industrial estates and look at the space to rent boards, some are massive but there is always small ones too.

ah cool. Im only 2 minutes away from where Christ Astley had his unit. might ask in there because they would be perfect!

I suspect that's a single garage, not a unit.......

go around the local farms and asked to see if they have a spare barn,(that way you exclude various rates and taxs).
i rent a old aircraft hanger for my cars,i pay 1200 a quarter.its about 2400sq ft with 3 ramps,

yea cowling mill. seems decent enough there.

an aircraft hanger for that price would be good but nothing like that round here unfortunately. Will try a few places i know of and ill also ask my mate who has a farm

word of mouth is best really.. companies often mean rules and more £££'s..
ask anyone / everyone you know if they know someone who..
thats how i found ours. Not always something people advertise.
Farms, as mentioned are a good place to start tho.
