View Full Version : clutch cable on xe not fitting

i just fitted my xe on its mounts last night started plumbing all hoses and wires in and i noticed that where the clutch cable comes throught the bulkhead out of a metal spout the cable right up tight to inlet manifold, how to do you lot over come this and is there a way of me putting this right with out having to take the f****ing engine back out. cheers

bend it over towards the gearbox.

you need to bend the hole for it towards the gearbox, if you really don't want to take the engine out, do it from inside the car

along with accidentally bending the heater matrix pipe when you put the engine in lol

Alternative do away with the massive intake and run carbs :) Loads and loads of space...

ive just been doing this and i cut the metal pipe around the hole at an angle, so basically same ideas as above lol
