c20xe rear crank seal

So i went to get some petrol today so it has enough for its MOT

I got back and noticed a trail of oil up the driveway, looked under the car and there was a steady stream coming off the flywheel with the engine on

Would i be right in thinking this can only be the rear crank seal? and does anyone have an easy way to change it? I'm hoping to just take the gearbox off and leave the engine there? anything else i should know?:confused:

Gearbox, clutch and flywheel off and then just swap it over just dont use too much force to put it on or you might damage it.

Also need to drop the exhaust, sump, oil pick up etc, so you can loosen the crank cap....

iv done it without droping the crank cap and etc,

just damages the old seal getting it it but it doesnt matter if its f**ked.

just ease the new seal in with a rubber mallet and use multi purpose grease.

job done.
