at the moment im rebuilding a corsa a. the end result im looking for is for it to be a star silver gsi nova replica. due to the fact that im only 16 im going to put a 1400 engine in it. i have put on front and back brakes off of a gsi astra. so heres some pics so far...

before planning to put a 1.4 in have you looked for insurance when your 17.

As you may be able to insure a 1.4 but its a differant matter when the shell started as a 1l or 1.2 as it will be classed as modified.

because i wrote off a car when i was 15, so they dont want me driving anything with too much power...

just tell them you need the power so its got enough grunt to pull you out of trouble if it steps out in a corner etc. thats what i told my mother and had a gsi from the off lol but now i've gone backwards to a works van and 1300 nova.

the center caps are off for the nct (same as mot) and i havnt gotten round to painting the towing eye cover yet but i will soon
