Memory card lost data??

I took plenty of pics this weekend and was about to update my project, until i put my sd card into my laptop and it formatted it and all is lost.. anything i can do to retrieve them?

It depends on the format

If by format all its done is marked every partition to be overwritten you can get software that can recover it

If by format its deleted the data, you can't do anything

I don't know what extra you get if you pay, but google "data recovery" or "free data recovery"

it'll take some looking, otherwise you'll have to buy it

or maybe "acquire" something like mcafee data recovery via illegal methods

Active undelete is a pretty good one that I've used a few times.

I eventually found a free one but it came up that the files are broken beyond repair! so im giving up on themlol
