well after many years of being without a nova,i fancy another, but whats happened to them all????sr and gte used to be two a penny, now there like rocking horse ****!,guess when i do find the right car im going to have to hold on tight to it!
also i put a wanted advert up,and ive noticed on other peoples wanted adverts, why do people reply with comments like"mint gsi ere call 000000000"
does this annoy any one else?is it really that hard to construct a sentance which is informative to myself and others.
apart from that brilliant site glad theres people keeping nova`s alive!

They're getting rare now, and prices are reflecting that. Agree with the crap for sale ads though lol

rusty wouldnt be such a problem, rear panels floors sills archs etc can all be replaced, but it seems even the rusty ones have gone, agreed i feel this could take weeks, may try a wanted ad in the local paper

Can't be picky when searching for a good Nova IMO, look for all models and make your own GTE/GSi/SR.

im afraid ian im abit of a purest,it has to amk1 a oringal mk1 sr or gte(prefere the sr tbh),im in no real rush, but im going to look pretty damn hard,
as ive said on a pm im trying to relive my youth,so.......well a 1.0 with a manual choke wont be the same as a sr with a stupiud faulty auto choke

tbh.. the nova prices are crazy in the UK. dutch sites are full of 5-800 euro nova's. mostly there's a bit of welding needed though.

You just have to look and wait for the bargains i got my nova merit plus with 5 months mot 4 months tax for £180

Swapped for a saxo vtr then 4 hours later sold the vtr for £900

Bargains to be made :)

its quite intresting how the nova owners seem to of changed over a few years(or grown up) i looked 4 years ago atr buying a nova, but was abit put off,1) as there didnt seem to be a strong nova following, and 2) the nova fans that were there did seem to come accross a complete chavs,
glad times have changed,i agree with whats been said before on this forum,i feel lil nova`s,are going to increase in price like mk1 escorts

Well judging by how much R5 Turbos/RST's & 205 GTi's now sell for, id say Nova;s may possibly one day follow suit?

i agree, hence why i wanna get my foot in the door,i think it will end up like escort, where standard example will be more stought after than body kitted up jobbys,
still 10k for a mk1 escort................err no thanks

They are going up in price but some good base/shells can be picked up quite cheap and parts bought quite easily

A complete car in good nick, especially the higher spec GTE's and SR's etc will fetch a bit more money

I know what Mike's saying, there not up there in the price range of RST's etc but there not far off

Needs 2 arches though, and other bits tidying up!

Not a bad car by any means, but not £4k's worth either!

lol why on earth would a car with such low miles need a set of archs?unles of course its live by the sea and been washed every night by the sea.
if the price wasnt so daft i might look!
