Just browsing the good ole tinternet and have come accross a 1.2 white h reg nova cat c, it was an attempted theft but never got stolen and a £20 ignition barrel was worth more than the car, insurance is great.

Would you be put off buying a cat c car knowing that the damage was only a lock? what about buying one.

I'm getting a corsa sri with rear quater damage plans would be sri lump into nova

Ive owned plenty of Cat C/D cars, if there repaired to a good standard i dont see what the problem is.

Altho, being a Nova, there cheap naff cars so you get what you pay for. BUT, if it were say, a Bently Continental it would be a whole different story.

EDIT: My white Nova was a Cat C several times over, my van is also a non recorded accident damage.

My current Nova was written off as cat C, don't know what damage was done but it cant have been bad as it was roadworthy and will be again when mot'd, my mates was cat C too and that was only lock damage from attempted theft.
