You running rear discs? aparently they can be a cause of a soft pedal, if you have no luck manually try with a pressure bleeder if you can get hold of one.

how long have you tried bleeding it for as new calipers will take a while to bleed up, well they did on my first nova build.

Leave the cap of the fluid pot, you shouldn't damage the mc at all

open the bleed nipple, you need to pump the pedal constantly until its pure fluid coming out and no air bubbles, then the pedal needs to be held flat to the floor then do up the bleed nipple. start from the rear right, rear left, front left, front right.

Bleed nipples should be at the top, otherwise they wont bleed up.

You need an assistant ideally
