F92 NUF.. trying to locate BIL's old RS Turbo

can anyone help me out on this? i have dvla'd it says it was due licence on 01/09/2009 but hasnt been taxed. i got into contact with a previous owner who sold it in july i think to a lad in scarborough as part of a deal against a 106. but has no other info. so anyone know of any info on this car then it will be greatly appreciated!
