Does any one no wat kind ov paint you would need to paint the inlet manifold ? also is it possible to paint 40s?

Any paint will be fine on a inlet.
I wouldnt paint the carbs TBH

id go for a high temp paint personally, wouldnt want to go to all that effort to have it all peel off when it gets a bit hot... and no, i definitely wouldn't paint the carbs...

strip asll the bits off abit of autosol and a old rag and alot of work ;)

yeah, a hell of alot of work, the bloke i got mine off used an acid bath, theryre like new now, brand new everything (banjo's etc) i certainly wouldnt paint them...

Adams right any paint should do ok for inlet as it doesnt get as hot as exhaust manifold

nowhere near as hot but, i painted the inlet manifold for my 2E3 carb with black enamel paint and that peeled off within a week...

I found most high temp paint to be very thin and scratch easy tbh
