i was hit by another driver they took the blame now im left fighting for lost earnings it happened 3 weeks ago
Do you have legal cover on your insurance? You could use this to pursue a personal claim for loss of earnings.

i never contacted my insurance cos the other party took the blame. wish i had now cos im stuck dealing with mupets called parabis. total stress
Your insurance company should at least be able to advise you, and will probably deal on your behalf even if you're not claiming via them - just because you're not making a claim on YOUR insurance doesn't mean you can't use your own company for what you pay them to do.

cool i was a bit paranoid about involving my insurance company due to it being close to renewal hmmm might phone them tommorow. cheers rj
i'm assuming their legal eagles are trying to back out of it... its their job to try & screw you on behalf of their client. your local big solicitor will offer free consultations, ring them up & ask if they do, or try the citizens advice bureau, they'll give you details of who does it

yes mowgli they are moving the goalposts.first of all i sent in copies from my books from the period of time last year as in 30oct/10th nov now thats no good and they want 3 months now prior to the accident.
i'm guessing that is to make sure that it is an accurate representation of what your earnings are for an average week spread over a longer period... send it with a strongly worded letter that you aren't impressed with what you see as delaying tactics. and asking if they plan to ask for anything else, and how you are going to ask them to pay extra for all this extra time that you are having to put into this claim, which their client already admitted was their fault
