What would anybody on here pay for an A reg 1.2l Nova? It has a tilt sunroof, cosmetic damage to one side, minor scratch's.

However, this car has covered 26000miles, with a full service history, the only spot of rot i could find was on the drivers side strut top, not rotten but serfice rust appearing, totally original, solid car.

So, anybody looking for a good base?:thumb:

Use some imagination. Scan eBay or on here. See what cars in similar nick to yours go for and name a price. Then stick up a for sale ad if you are wanting to sell. Some detailled pics of the car and the usual areas would be good. Battery tray, rear boot corners, chassis legs front and rear, sills, etc.

Well as it goes, i have the opportunity to buy it from a friend, if i had the room id have it myself.

As for scanning ebay and looking for some, ive yet to see an early mk1 on ebay.

He's asking £750ono, i reckon £600 would buy it. Id love to have it myself as you dont see an early mk1 everyday, just wish i had the room really

Depends on the damage surely... If it needs a new quarter, door, wing, and 2 bumpers then it's not worth £750.

I have a B plate with 27k on it with no damage and cant get £750.00 for it.

It would appear peeps would rather pay £3-400.00 for a shell and build one up instead of a car with T&Tlol

Its not? Doh! Its a shame really, i thought being a bit more of a rarer car it would of been worth a bit more. It doesnt need any panels at all.

The damage is wierd, never seen anything like it! Imagine, going through some mud and it splashing up along the side, imagine the splodges, well how the splodges are, its like deep scratch's!

Yeh i spose, id rather a shell tbh. I think its only had 2 owners aswell! Such a shame, if im honest i was only looking to buy it cheap and sell it to an enthusiast on here and see it put to good use
