Compression test on redtop

Ok story is im looking at a 2.0 redtop engine in a corsa running and all. The seller said i could get the engine pressure tested before i buy it .

what i want to know is how is this done and wat kinda readings should i get for the test.

Is there anything else i should know about this test

This has been covered a lot recently - best use the search matey...

as long as they are all within 5% of eachother then you should be rocking - anywhere between 150-200 psi.

yep, above 150psi and all close = win

all plugs out, tester in on cylinder at a time, throttle wide open. go go go.
