AHHH not happy,

ok well started striping my redtop down tonight started off all good.
I got the engine off a mate he said the head was rebuild 5000 miles ago....(should have asked why!! my fault) anyway got it striped a bit further then I found this............

What shall I do now? ahhh advice on what to do!

That wont affect performance if it is not on the bit of the head the valve sits in or the block face. Its only det marks.

Hmm I rang the guy I got it off and it is not just det marks, a valve broke and smashed around......hmm I know it will run, thats not what I'm just worried about if it will be slightly weaker in terms of if i tune it....?

If the valve shuts ok in its seat and the hg are has no marks on it will be fine

It will be fine, but if i makes you feel better, you could flat it down a bit ;)
