im not going to be running a cat, do people still plug the 02 sensor in or just leave it disconnected. ive got the coil pack engine by the way.. cheers

you should have it connected but you dont have to if you dont it will not like starting and idleing when cold i have run a mk3 astra gsi with the later engine without one

You unplug most of the sensors & it would run badly.

mine ran fine when it was warm and strated ok when it was warm only had a problem on cold start with the o2 sensor not connected
no o2 sensor can cause all sorts of problems. Its the sensor that sorts the fuelling out for you, if its faulty or not connected it will over/under fuel, run crap, no performance
