Only just started happeing resently, i have had this problem on another c20xe engine a year ago but it sorted itself out and i never thought anything of it.
Right it starts, drives, runs, perfectly but sometimes when i come up to a junction or have to stop, as soon as i engage the clutch the revs completley die and the engine stops, cuts out? it only happens every now and again but happends more when the revs are high if im in gear then i just slam the clutch down the revs just dont stop and the engine conks out,
if i drop it through the gears and let it wind itself down and put the clutch in at bout 1,000rpm
its fine.
i hope im not being to confusing on this. someone told me it may be todo with fuel pressure or a sticky idle control valve.
i need to get this problem sorted because it happens sometimes when im even changing down gear, and one day im going to not hear or relise the engine stops and ill release the clutch and do some real damage and that could be carnage :cry: !!!
