Im 24, have 3 kids, im devorced, living in my 3rd home away from the rents, yet I havent felt OLD old.


I can still drink like an 18 year old, still walk n talk like an 18 year old, get the sideways looks for being wierd like an 18 year old, drive the women away like an 18 year old etc etc.

However I went to the shop tonight and bought some Hubba Bubba, mainly as I havent had it in years.......... got halfway home and then thought that I havent had Bubblegum in more then a decade, so I would have been 12 or 13. In which times its DOUBLED in cost!!

I almost bloody cried! I sounded like my dad!!

Its a shock to the system when age catches up to you!!:tard:

All jokes aside, mine are, and I'm only 23 and in the way of life, no real stress like a house, kids etc, just a car that needs fixing and a mate that's taking ages to do it.

Go out and find something that you not had in ages, enjoy it for a moment and then remeber how long ago you bought it!

EG buy something you not had for more then 10-15 years.

Instant old guy feeling!

Always come across stuff that I used to eat in school that I haven't had in ages, it don't affect me tbh. Like yesterday I saw those sponge rolls with iced cream and raspberry sause center that I used to eat in Primary school and even mentioned it to my wife. Nothing like that even crossed my mind.

well THATS part of the reason I felt old.

it reminded me that it used to cost less then 20p, and I paid 44p for it last night, then it reminded me of when I used to pay 5p to get to school, and now the same bus trip cost nearly a pound, so on and so forth!!

remember when space raiders were 10 pence, and when you went to the shop you can buy a pie for 50 pence, they are a quid now ffs.
