some one has drilled it out already, and at a god awful angle, theyve destroyed the hole basically i dont think a helicoil will work at this stage!

weld it up then re drill. what about use a bigger drill a bigger hole and use a nut?

Does it leak/blow? If not - ignore it!

I had one a while back with 4 missing and it was fine.....

Actually I think it was three and yes it was on a let!

If it is blowing then fair enough - mine didnt though!

Plug the hole with weld?

Make sure your welder is on a high setting, then re-drill, be sure not to fook it up again though!

if you do weld it up, you will find it harder to redrill the weld, so make sure you give it a good center punch then drill it with small drill bits getting bigger :)

take the head off & get a proper engineer to fix it. I know its expensive, but its going to be the only way you'll fix it properly
