Fuel return on 40s

Ive fitted my 40s today all up and running fine but just wondered if i need a fuel return becaue i fitted one as i saw on some sports but wouldnt run so took it out and runs fine but if i need one how do you plumb one in.

i know some people on here have put a return in but personally i wouldnt..

i have ran various novas on 40's and never had a problem with no return.

also ran a fair few other cars/rally cars on 40/45's, again with no return..

prob end up drinking more without a return wouldnt it ?

ive seen a couple t-pieced back into the feed line, but not sure if it needs to go before or after the pressure regulator.

Rob, Twin forties do not return fuel to tank, they just put it through the enginelol
