1.2 nova

evenin all iv got a 1.2 4 speed nova saloon and im wantin a 1.6 for it. dose anyone know if the engine will fit the 4 speed cheers

iirc no you'll need the correct gearbox for the engine

will it not ? i think i heard someone say the f10 would fit if the 1.2's flywheel and clutch was transfered to the block, it might have been the other way round tho lol

For the sake of it just get the 1.6 engine and box,then its a straight bolt in job and you get a extra gear

change the lot, the 1.4 would be a straight drop in, but even still, its four speed

simple answer... fit a 1.6 with an f13 box

Whereabouts are you andyb? I have a 1.6 gsi engine and box if its any good to you but its missing the injection system as it was on carbs
