my engine is std other than a noisy air filter and a yet to be fitted straight thru chimney, is a piper 270 worth fitting?

its not going to make a huge differance. itl take the hp up a bit but youl get lower torque bottom end. depending on how you drive it is whether youl get the best from it or not. if youve got it already wing it on and find out, its not exactley a big job.

My mate had an E16SE (GTE engine i beleive) and his cam snapped, the only spare cam was one i had bought from the bay (Kent, KCNV062) similar from what ive been told and we swapped that for the snapped camshaft and the engine was spot on afterwards and from what he said it pulled a hell of a lot better and seemed noticably faster too, just from the cam:thumb:

I had one of these in my GTE engine and i wished i had bought the 285 deg instead as the 270 deg made no real /noticable gain what so ever
