as above got a second hand mk1 roof lining to go in my sr what glue shall i use to stick it round the by the window rubbers and down the pillers help please cheers

I used normal spray adhesive. The sort of stuff you'd stick cloth to a sub box with. Worked a treat.

I used copydex for gluing vinyl to the Pillars once, worked fine also.

iv changed the roof lining on a jag xj6 an i thought it was goin to be a horrible job but it wasnt to bad make sure your glue is slightly tacky otherwise it take ages to stay in the correct place. good luck

sunday i think mate depends when i get the car back from having battery tray done and a hand would be really good you any good at getting nova window in and out

i can get the rears out on a hatch, and im sure we could get out the front and rear no problem lol.

you gonna be doing it in the garage?

I used the same sort of stuff as Shaun...I then promised myself i would never do a rooflining again lol

It's fiddly and messy, just take your time and do a bit at a time.

Don't attempt the whole thing in one go as it'll just de-tension all the time. Do one side or front, fit the respective window/door seal, then do the opposite side or front.

Clothes pegs were my friend.
