Anyone any pics of alternator lowering brackets home made jobbies, want to get some ideas as i need to make one this weekend for bikey carbies.

just use a bit of flat metal (maybe 4mm) sqaure..

thats all you need, a sqaure with 4 holes in it..

i will get some measurements if you are interested..

possibly even pics..

that would be stonking greg. I shall put together a guide as I do it as I'm sure quite a few people on here would like to know how to make on.

Just need to see what others have put together.

I mod the existing one, quite easy really.

Different to mine. I needed to drop the whole alt down rather than tilt it away from the manifold further.

Mine is a 4mm steel square with four holes drilled - drops the alt down by about 1-1.5inch. I did look to see if I could take a pic but you can't really see anything lol
