camed??

hia all i have been told my e16se engine has been camed but what i would like to know its how would i be able to tell if it is as it doesn't sound it at all its sounds rather standerd would there be a marking on the cam as im striping the engine for a rebuild anyhow?

Take the rocker cover off - should have part no. on it.... if it has the GM number, probably standard.

Probably best taking the dizzy or coil pack off, the cam will be marked with some letters/ numbers.

I had my gte cam reprofiled so mine would look standard if the above was looked for.
