i just got a rover metro 1.4SI... i need some black alloys for it!! anyone know anywhere i can get them from??? i cant find anywhere. cheers peeps

look out for some antracite wheels, there dark dark grey, ive never seen any "standard" black alloys, that come black to start with like

maybe try wheelmania.co.uk or have a look on pvdnet.co.uk as they stock different finnishes of alloys

You dont want black alloys, it is Anthracite you need. There is more of a tinkle to them.

There are LOADS of wheels in black.

Plus it only costs around ?25 quid to have any wheel powdercoated any colour you want. Though you'd have to take them there without tyres, then take em away and have the tyres put on. And most wheels come supplied with tyres already on, so it's just hassle.

But, my advice would be - GET RID OF THE METRO instead. Please. :lol:

All joking aside, why not just cover them in glue and sprinkle lots of glitter and sequins on? It would look wikkid. Seriously!

Brand new - the cheapest you could get them is in a wheel and tyre package, as it's cheaper than buying both seperate. The only 'prob' is that you don't normally get to choose the brand of tyres, so they usually use budget one's.

Not a problem though i guess.

Also, a lot of places do special offers every so often. Keep an eye out in the Mags for adverts from places like South West Tyres (there's enough of the fuckin ads in the mags, and not much else anymore).

Otherwise, it'll have to be secondhand. Keep an eye out on sites like this (for sale section) and places like SuperNovas.

I mite get theses sprayed in anthracite, to go with my red and black theme. Haven't decided really yet though.
