im twitching as i really REALLY want to go and get it in my lunch hour, but i know i shouldnt, i have a wealth of work to do and two exams in the next fortnight, but god damn do i want that game!

forza 3 does look extremely good, i've played nfs shift and wasnt to impressed with it. call of duty all the way, just completed a mental terrorist mission, gotta complete compaign before i go multiplayer on line

Just for the record, Sainsburys are selling it for £26.99. im not buying it, it looks way to chavvy for me. I'm going to hold out for Left 4 Dead 2 on the PC

I got the game late last night. There's alot more going on with unlocking guns and perks etc. Top game !!

fast paced. intense, all the normal COD trademarks lol.
bit annoyed still that me and kelly cant play together online.

TBH i think its quit average, im bored of it already.

bah managed to get hold of a copy last night, went to sainsbooners, asda then morrisons, got the last copy in morrisons :)
personally i think the game is awesome, nice guns, not a fan of the 'heartbeat sensor' etc but ahh well still good fun
really liked the airport mission, bit sick like ill assume thats the mission its referring to when it gives you the option to skip the "graphically distrurbing mission" lol
belting story line so far for me, and as for fighting in amuurrca while its getting invaded thats just brilliant! didnt go online last night, i really had to resist haha, just thought id get at least half way through the campaign as with CoD WaW i just onlined it for the first few months then only bothered doing the campaign for Nazi Zombies lol
campaign isnt my thing.
Got in last night at 4 and didnt get off til 10 lol
annoying about it on the ps3 is the fact its hard to get a party and there is always an error :(
lvl 20 already should preistage before the weekend

yeh i thought ok i will buy some cheap blutoth headset for the ps3, advancing from the wired shizzle, and it fails so much. i would rather a wired one. i used to have a "turtle beach" headset on my xbox 360 and it was imense, played game sound and people sound through ya headset. and ya could hear evrything,.

me too I think theres too many perks and options, all the levels are too similar with the odd erxception and im bloody fed up of it only using 4 levels (estate underpass highrise fuvela etc) mustve played them 50 times each only seen the airport level 2 times

the xbox wins hands down online, no question, not even worth the discussion,
the ps3 has free online which is good if your a casual player and skint, you can just pop online when ever ya like.
the blue ray is blah, i have never used it and dont plan to.
and tbh, yeh they each have their own games, but for me online is where it is at. and as said xbox wins it.
i could sit and write hundreads of words (as i did my university dissertation on games consoles and mainly newer ones) but i cba and i doubt many would listen lol.

xbox 360 is 40 quid a year
in general i would say, xbox is for great parties, and ps3 is more of single people playing online with random people. if that makes sense.
i suppose it depends on what you want in the way of online demands etc
i like my ps3 because it has I player, which i can watch at night. and an internet browser, where as the xbox doesnt.

but xbox is just betetr online for other online friends also. like chatting to them on xbox you can chat to mate X while playing wth mate Y. on ps3 you HAVE to chat to mate X and that is all you can do, they put you in a vittual room with mate X and thats all lol.

I acquired it last week and we had a blast at the weekend, the single player is awesome, out of decency i bought the game, as its well worth it!
Online, im unsure yet, The maps are awesome (I don't know how many they have) the way you can get anywhere and break windows etc just to get through is good,
I'm not too keen on the spawn points, but it may just be me, Rather than the arcade feel, i think it'd be better instead of having a jingle etc, maybe have the writing that appears a little smaller? so you'd only see it if you were taking note of it
the bloody online in knackered on ps3, it wouldnt let me on all night, well annoyed,
started playing campaign and its alright, got bored after about 4 missons.
and played some of those other things on the left of the menu, and some of them are well hard lol.
i done the trainging course in like 33 seconds. :D

Ive finished the campaign now (dont trust that guy with the tash!) lol... The endings a bit gay! So i was on special ops last Nite with my brother and we managed 33.5 secs on the pit (training level) whats your best times?

turns out microsoft maintain there own game servers, where as sony use third parties to maintain game servers
pretty shocking imo, but the fact of the matter is the outlay for microsoft to run its own servers will be next to nothing where as sony would have to start from scratch, makes sense really
people are demanding a few map pack for the inconvienience of downed servers, i think they should too!

ahh sales mean nothing, look at all these films coming into the cinema's that are filled with cgi and trully god awful and smashing the box office straight away.
it cant be better than the specialists beta 2.0 or the mighty deathmatch classic on the original half life engine, cs beta 7 and first release 1.0/1.1 were prety badass too, nothing ive played that can test that lot

^me an a lad that works for us was talking about the future state of affiars regarding the "new generation" of gamer freaks!!
His missus brother, all he does everyday after school is come home an play his box, hes 12 years old!! All through the 6 weeks holidays, all he done was play COD4 all day everyday!
When i was that age i was out the house all day, i spent an entire 6 weeks with 10 or so mates literally rought camping it up in a wood in the middle of farmers feilds about a mile from me when i was 12, however the kids of today couldnt even make toast themselves let alone pitch a fricken tent :mad:
I do fear somewhat for the future generations of kids that are bought up into a world of immense evolving technology where you have a remote control to operate a microwave an such like....
EDIT: God knows how kids of today will get on in later life with the likes of Ikea flat pack furniture :S

Its a good game, just not long enough imo - developers used to make single player game with a hint of multiplayer, now its the other way around :(
I bet its took me about 8-9 hours to complete it on hardcore.. :(

epic game, epic epic game, ive been working stupid hours and weekends and still managed to rack up 10hours total play time lol
not seen a tactical nuke yet, bet its mintballs though :) im enjoying all of the achievements etc, its morale boosting, ive joined a ps3 forum and been playing with them chaps, super nerdy like but its good fun,
anyone stuck semtex to someones head yet? much more fun than stabbing them!
The Spec-Ops missions are good too, i've done the first training one in 38.01 secs so far!
Ive finally got it to work in my console!!!
