Brought a cheep 1.0 nova a while back, with the intention of kitting it out with some of the bits off my GTE that i had to scrap, & use it as a dos car & general workhorse by no means going to be mint, maybe a bit rat, but half decent if you know what i mean.

here is a few picture of it as i brought it:

Its not the cleanest shell in the world, but by no means the worst, & its certinaly nowhere near as bad as my GTE shell. for what i want it for its ideal. the bloke i brought it from brought it because of the number plate, the bloke before him was a vauxhall mechanic, & had brought a vxr plate & put it onto it this, so he brought it literaly for the plate, to put it onto his astra vxr.
the interior was already striped when i brought it as you can see, not a problem for me as im going to make it into a van, blank of the back windows fit a floor & bulkhead & hopfuly ply it all out. parts are not a problem as ive got most parts from my GTE to use, the only problem ive got is i need to sort some kind of roof lining out for the front.
so hopfuly its going to be a nice quick & cheep mini project!

saturday 7th nov strip down comences!

Move nova into work area, i perswaded my boss to let me use the yard, as im now garageless!

Ive fitted a set of nova alloys, an interior led light in the rear, which turns on when boot is opend, an old shiney vauxhall badge on the grill. also been doing a few niggly bits & bobs, changed & adjusted the clutch cable oiled all the hinges & handles etc as they were a bit stiff that sort of thing. also done an oil & filter change, & changed the spark plugs.

future plans will be a good cut & polish & i will sort out the arch & other bits of the bodywork when it gets a bit warmer. ive also got a roof rack! not sure about fitting it or not?
