Hi everyone!
i bought this Nova sri 5 months ago as i have always wanted a Nova and i absolutley love them and the fact that there aren't many around these days, so its a real head turner where ever you go and always has good comments said
so about the car.
its black 'J' reg 1992 1400 8v engine SRI with 4 owners. It has full service history and stamped by vauxhall up until 60k. its current millage is 96,000miles which isnt alot for its age and still runs fantastic, with 10 months mot and 4 months tax with is £63 for 6 months
there are NO advisorys on the car not even one and there havent been any for over 4 years which shows the car is going strong with no problems
The car doesnt need a catalictic converter because it just missed the restrictions of them being brought in that year. The car starts first time, every time and doesnt miss a beat. and has just had a full service inc oil, filter, leads and air filter
The interior is as new, no one can belive it how mint it is. they have always had seat covers over them, and ive done the same also to keep them mint. there isnt even any sign of wear on them and are still rock solid on the sides.
The car has been properly dynomatted from the boot up to the dash on the floor. the previous owner who had the car 4 years payed to have it done to keep the road noise down, and belive me doing 60-70 MPH down the motorway is amazing you cant hear anything its like being in a new car, so travelling in it is no problem as its sooo quiet its made the world of difference.
the car has got a 2" full stainless system made by pro speed in cardiff with a 3 1/2" rolled out exhaust tip.
Its has also got a full koni adjustable suspension kit, springs and shocks, so the car handles well and provides a comfy ride which can be softened or stiffened.
The car will be sold with the standard gsi alloys wich are in good condtion. with 2 brand new tyres and the other two with plenty of tread they are becoming rare to get hold of in this condition with all 5 alloys and centre caps. the centre caps alone go for £25 each :! and there's 5 of them.
onto the body.
It has got a full Nova gsi kit inc skirts. the car has had a respray a good few years ago as you would expect for a 17 year old car .
as you will see from the pictures the car is still shinning well,
but as always.. you get some bad points
when the car was painted the person has left a run on the passangers side rear quarter, it's not bad as it can be flat polished out and will be fine. and on the same side on the lower part of the arch there is a slight bubble on it and one bit SMALLER than a 1p coin has come off when i was washing the car the other day, so i just toutched that up for now.
The other side, the drivers side rear quarter has had a plate put in about 4-5cm long but wasn't done to a high standard by the garage. and they have left that section orange peely.
so all in all its the rear quarters that just need a bit of attention as the rest of the car is fine. its just paint that needs doing in the area. apart from that you have a car that would do well in a show season. and with nova's creeping up in value it would be a good investment for some one with it being in good condition.
this car was going to be a nice project for me to do after winter had gone. But one of my relatives has offered me a clio sport for a price i couldn't say no to. so with me having bought that i havent got the money to run two cars otherwise it would be staying with no second thought.
