TBH and dont mean to be nasty but if your asking for advice on here to do a customers cambelt its a job you really should not be doing.

Replacing lights, rocker gasket ok but not something as critical as a cambelt.

best bet mate, go buy a haynes manual for the car and an english dictionary. you might only get 20quid profit (assuming they have bought the materials) but at least you will learn a couple of things, like:
a:how to do a cam belt
b:why not to do a foreigner cambelt for 50quid

just dont **** it up, because if the teeth arent alligned then it go go horrific i think!

and + on diesels, the fuel pump has to be timed up too doesnt it?

On direct injection diesels, yes.

well, it will probably need a belt & tensioner kit. knowing most modern diesels are tighter than anything for room & the engine mount will most likely need removing, I would be asking for £50 on top of the bits, and you get the bits to make some more profit. most garages charge £250+ for this job.
