yhea i see what ure saying mate it just makes no sense wotsoeva surley a gsi is a higher insurance groupe than a luxe and an sr must be higher, insurance companys suck mind you if they want to insure me in a gsi for the same price or an sr for the same price i cant argue, shame i didnt no this first
My old SR was cheaper than my 1.2.
My new clio was only 200 more than my current nova.
Its insurance, all depends. Oh and are all those prices from the same company and using all the same details etc?
Its all calculated on risk...
So if lots of 1.2 novas get binned compared to 1.6 novas then statistically the 1.2 is a bigger risk and therefore more expensive to insure. Simplez
braught
awhatnow? lol
Sure the prices quoted were for a year? And not to swap your existing policy over...?

strange and weird huh? my first nova was a mk2 1.0 trip, and i was paying 1450 F/C on my own name, now im on my 3rd, with 6 points and no NCB, and my Antibes 1.2 costs me 530 a year with the same company and the same circumstances, my corsa sport 1.6 16v only cost me 750, funked up huh?

You haven't said how long you've been insured for? so if you've been insured for like 9 months or somethin on your 1.4 then it will be cheaper by now on something else otherwise it's all just shet!! i can get insured on a 3.9 v8 classic rover for over 150quid cheaper than my 1.2 4 door loon which isn't exactly a "boy racer car" !!lol!!??

some of the more poor rover V8's only boasted around 90bhp though.
