Temp Guage

:microwav: Alrite lads anyone know where, on my 1L engine, the temperature guage lead (its light blue) should connect to? Its just hanging in the engine bay and keeps hitting hot stuff, so its giving crazy readings. Just gotta find where it plugs back into... Cheers, Joe

It's prob hitting the block, earthing itself and pushing the gauge to max?

I uncertain, but is it near the rad?

i had same prob. on left hand side of carb near the belt there a little notch sticking out it just clips on.

let us no if u still cant do it and il explain in more detail!

if you look towards the back left of your engine bay, there is a big hose coming from the rear to the front of the bay, if you lift the pipe slightly, you will see on the inlet manifold (where the carb is), what almost looks like a stud or a bolt head, push it on there......

it has a white collar between the top and the bottom
