very nice mate engine bay looks stunning, needs a standard airbox imo!
What Ben said, that filter looks crap...
Get a std box back on there.
Does look a tidy example! :)

very nice mate engine bay looks stunning, needs a standard airbox imo!i have the standard airbox in the boot/unsure wether to put a cold air feed to the cone filter,or refit the air box(drilled)with a upgraded panel filter.
im happy with the car but needs a few little bits sorting out.
plus i have the ABS light on the dash constant????

can i ask why?????
why to the standard airbox?
because the cav engine bay looks nice n neet "factory"
the halfords cone filter looks like it belongs to a 1.1 saxo.
a standard air box would complete the factory engine bay!
no i mean why give up a nova gte for the cav????

no i mean why give up a nova gte for the cav????because i followed the poll i put up on herelol :p
no the nova had been parked up for 11 month in the bosses yard and neede time and money spending on the car which i just didnt have tbh(although ive bnought the cav the money has come through the sale of the nova and other stuff ive sold recently)
plus i have a little one now which just makes the nova so un-practicle
i was gutted to let the nova go it was my first car and actualy felt imotional(i know its a nova, but im one of them who doesnt like to let anything go!)
so after taking the cav out for a little ride today, the nova part of it just went through the window, its a so much better car alround electric everything literaly,(and everything works, even the the wiper's on the headlights ffs lol powersteering etc etc
ps, please dont remind me of it(the nova) again:(

looks a good buy mate, enjoy driving it...
If the engine bay's anything to go by, the rest of the car should be a minter, I could see exactly why you'd go for it on condition alone! Hope your new little one likes it too lol

I know how you feel dude, when my first car (nova) went down the road on the back of a tow truck i watched it go all the way untill i couldn't see it anymore.
plus i have the ABS light on the dash constant????
You should be able to flash the codes, google. Its prob a sensor.
Looks a good one but needs better pics, oh and definately loose that silly filter they dont do cavs any favours, get a decent panel filter in the std airbox and you will find it more responsive:thumb:

top guy seems that more and more nova owners have love for its bigger brother the cavalier
looks verry tidy dude good finde and i am sure as any cav owner will back me up they are so nice to drive and are very good daily drivers.
i love my cav to bits and love the fact that to this day people still recognise them as an iconic car ie gsi and turbo models
anyways less of my mubleing on good finde there hope you enjoy it :thumb:
