Does anyone know if the C14SE SRI head is suitable to be fitted to the carb'd 14NV engine??
Is it a worthwhile upgrade?

the head will fit kent, but not to sure about the pulleys being the same, i think the crank pulley on the NV is different, if so just get to the scrap dealer and get the pulley u need, if u need one that is, otherwise everything will work, but as jimbob said, the bottom ends may be identical, so not sure if you'll get much performance diffrence if any
wtf are you talking about with pullys? he said head?
It will fit fine, if youve got a matched inlet it could produce slight gains. Unless your doing other work id say not really worth it unless the engine is in bits.

AW06 - yes its in bits being rebuilt!!
Hi The Heads Are All Compatible 1.4 Heads Fit 1.6 As Well. The Se Head Has Bigger Valves An Higher Compression So It Will Work Well With The Other Mods Your Doing+
might want to check the compression ;)

No problem with the pulley as it bolts onto the cam
Think I may just give it a go and then check compression
Dont give out advice then if you dont know!
