It's getting chucked out soon and the Ski going in there though. The old boy reckons he's getting it plastered out and all the walls/floor painted and new work bench etc etc. Will be nice when he gets round to it...

you can see a hole in the wall at the back, that is where i have 2 rooms which is full of nova stuff, only pic i have is when i first discovered it and put the floor down. the rooms are the width of the garage but only 4ft tall Lol

A Ginetta G15, love it, I've fancied one of these for a long while, ever since seeing Andy Russell's race one at Gurston Down hillclimb.

good good. Dad was speaking to him at Gurston last year in fact. The engine in this one is 998cc on T40's producing 118bhp. Dad purchased the engine 30 years ago whilst riding back down Gurston hill with one of the competors who had it for sale. It was a spare race engine - never used.

I've been itching to finish it for him for years, but he said I couldn't hence why I started the nova. Now I'm going to finish the G15 if he likes it or not lol

Andy's G15 is still competitive at Gurston, if I remember rightly he's been into the 37 second bracket with a 1.1 litre engine. My best is 33.87 in my 2.0 turbocharged Escort............the photo below is me trying too hard at Gurston in an attempt to better my best;

EDIT - just checked on the Gurston website and in fact Andy still holds the record in his Class at 36.86s. That is very quick for a small engined car!

my favourite out of them all, looks more like a house than a garage.

im quite fortunate with the garage at my dads house its pritty large, big enough to have my nova in there with both doors open. with pritty much everything i could ever need. were extending it at the moment to be two cars long, and going to dig a pit as ive had enough of lying on the floor.

No, im not a mechanic. Believe it or not im a farmer....? been tinkering with cars since i was 12. Built the workshop about a year ago and been trying to set up on myself, doing engine conversions, restorations, fabricating stuff! My old man spent most of his life restoring classic cars and i picked up the bug from him. If anyone's local (or not) and wants anything doing , by all means give me a shout ?

Quite old pics, is now fully done along with sorting out the grass area with a new path and everything. The garage is now also almost complete finally. Needless to say that i have made it harder for me to actually work anywhere now as im scared of messing things up lol

Weld some flats onto it on hinges so you can lift an entire car on it's wheels if you need to :)
