i tried to fit in on mig but nothing happened so last night when png was down i deleted my mig favorites link never to return lol
Whooooop whoop, kev please tell your mum to fit a double socket for when she wants to hoover your old room, i for one have been bored out of my socks, i actually turned my laptop off tonight as there was no PNG :cry:
not me had nothing to do accept the tv with the missis :( lol

Ive been going out of my head cos on a saturday all you get on facefcuk is all the saddos posting statuses about fcuking x factor, i dont give a sh!t about it so i dont watch it, so why would i wanna log in to facefcuk and find out all about it, grrrr....

Mig is crap for technical as well, anyone who knew anything rarely goes on anymore. Threads in technical go for days with no replies.

I personally don't see what the problem is with him, did me a good deal and seemed like a good lad, obviously missed the start of it all, not really interested in finding out tbh. Mig is good for people selling big block goodies for cheap

i watched the boxing, had matt brown texting me and panicing about why he couldn't get on the site.
i was busy being paid to work, followed by buying booze, then watching the boxing. now the site is online.

I can never pin point what I don't like about mig, I just spend more time on here, I go on there most days to check for private message and for sale ads.
There are some good project threads, I really like the cav diplomat makes me really want something in Spetral (sp) blue

With more and more model bases forums every day it happens alot. Sadly.
There are quite a few good builds on there and yeah Pete's Cav is a weapon.

I am happy now PNG has returned, been extremely bored, didn't even bother going on MIG lol speant most of the night looking at cars for sale and on facebook lol
Mig really is ott on moderation, I got an infraction for saying "oh what a bummer" in the Stephen Gately dead thread, SRSLY, ott, but at least the person who gave me the infraction was good about it and polite.

Mig really is ott on moderation, I got an infraction for saying "oh what a bummer" in the Stephen Gately dead thread, SRSLY, ott, but at least the person who gave me the infraction was good about it and polite.
As opposed to us, where we try and make ban comments amusing and insulting. I do like to make the BanList an entertaining read
I find the moderation on here quiet entertaining except Spud who you'd think he was earning a living off banning people lol

This is all try we (i) am hoping to get changed. Everyone should be able to post anything with in a tiny bit of reason..
instead of PNGing, we had a family evening of watching the local sea cadets trying to re-enact the sinking of the Bismarck with fireworks in their dinghy sailing pond, followed by watching RV Runaway Vacation, which was surprisingly not crappy. then there was loads of alcohol followed by rampant sex, so it was pretty boring really

Lol, yes it does as it was down all day yesterday till late last night and it went down again this morning lol

I did join there sometime ago, an was made to feel like outcast as I wasnt known by the "in crowd" so to speak. And if im honest, Im not really "that" into the scene to be bothered using a generic GM marque site as opposed to a one model site like this.

Benn, I suggest you collect more information from disgruntled users and approach Mike or Tom about it. Ive not had much dealings with Mike, but I know Tom will listen to any ideas you have. The guy has been a huge help to us regarding the VBOA membership and TBH I now hold MIG in a regard I didnt have before purely for that reason. :)

Yeah this was years ago but put me off for life, only go on there now to read for sale threads but struggle with that at times as there too many rules even reading threads on there.

That's very much what i'm trying to do. Both Tom and Mike are good glads, i've known them both years. With my new found power i'm trying to make everything better..

I still use MIG every now and again, it's a good source of information if you drive more than just a Nova, they have helped out a few times with the 2 Cav's we have at home.
The MIG of a coule years back was more helpful I'd say. Like it's been said it sometimes takes a while for people to even bother to read the thread and help which is annoying. There seems to be an influx of silly and chavvy users as compared to the older longer serving users that use the service how it should be and not to slate people and take the pi*s. I have noticed the abundance of banning which could be due to the newer/less respecting users causing problems hence MIG admin getting a tad more serious. It's why I don't really get too involved and don't make too many jokes, just answer some questions have a look around and go.

Too true. His attitude sucks.
MIG has become full of noobs & muppets starting ridiculous threads. As said, the core users of a few years ago that had a wealth of awesome knowledge have moved on. MIG probably still is the largest car club in the Vauxhall community, but I can't see it being that way for much longer. Someone needs to shake it up & change it for the better. The old issue of moderation has always been a talking point. I get the impression that some of MIG's mods have been waiting for there positions since the dawn of time, when they became appointed, it was like having new toys at Christmas. I wouldnt want to do it though...
I can't say I noticed PNG was down though, only briefly Saturday night.

Sadly yeah there's been a influx of nuggets on there, i have no clue where they seem to have come from. Yeah alot of the old school members that really knew there stuff have moved to model based sites or on to fatherhood and such, which is a shame but it happens, we just try and take up the slack
