There's no filler so to speak and Audi wont say how you do it...

CVT box ?
need a tool from audi about £190 you put the oil in by sealing this tool into the bottom of the geabox and the torque converted sucks the new oil in centrefugally think thats how you spell it chap.

Ah cheers dude, i said if we can tilt the car right over (elec jack thing) then take the plug out and use a fluid gun/plunger thing we should be able to do it..

So that should work then.

Not sure mate i tried that and it wouldnt take it, thats why my boss got the tool to do it its like a big tank and pipework you hang on the bonnet and the pipework goes in the bottom of the gearbox.

yes this is true,I work for audi and this is how you do it,fill the bottle up with gerbox oil,let it all go in,run the car through the gears untill the oil is warm take the pipe out an put the bung back in:)

There is 2 drain holes on the gearbox one is to fill it with and the other is to drain it with :thumb:

If you were closer to me i would ask my boss if you could borrow the tool mate, theres two plugs underneath i cant remember off the top of my head which one is the drain/fill hole but i know one is a big no no to undo for some reason. by all meens have a go but i dont think its do-able without the tool. the oil for those boxes is expensive as well :( stupid audi's

I'l know next time :) that gear oil stinks hehe, and after all that the one i did had to go to audi for a new geabox anyway aparently theyre known for doing bearings in and making them jerk around when warmed up.

To be honest mate not alot, few pipes become brittle on them from the oil mist !

fuel pumps sometimes go on them, which timing on them can be a pain if you have never done them!!!!!

They are just really noisy for a v6,rattly ect !!!

oil has to be at a pre set temp when checked, and done via 5051 (audi equvalent) iirc. It's filled from underneath via gravity too.

Either way mate,I just normally check the temp in measure value block through self diag thats all:)

So there's no test plan in guided functions at audi for it? i'll always do it via guided, print of diag log (or save to stick) and cover ones **** in case it goes wrong lol get good time for a g/box oil change too! 1.1 iirc!
