Hi,
I have just bought the 8v baffle to use on my C20XE, does anyone have any pictures of a modified one so i know which tabs to bend/remove to allow it to fit?
Thanks

The 2.0 16v (X20XEV) ecotec sump baffle fits with no modifying.

Thanks, but I have already bought the 8v baffle as it comes with the rubber gaskets glued inplace making it easier to align it and less likely to leak.
If anyone has a picture of which tabs need removing or bending that would be really useful.
Thanks

Thanks grunt, any pictures? Is it worth adding a little gasket sealant to the rubber gasket?
Thanks

Ive bought the same, it dosnt need modifying
Sometimes they do, else the baffle taps the conrod bolt head on one of the pistons.
Compare it to a 16v plate and you'll see which bit the 16v one doesnt have, so bend that bit flat on the 8v one....

Thanks for the advice, I will be looking at mine next weekend so I'll get some pictures of the 2 side by side.
I have also read that you may need to shorten some of the bolts? Anyone had any trouble with the standard bolts?
Thanks
Iirc the tabs only need modifying if you have arp rod bolts
Yes the bolts need to be shorter else they bottom out in the block
