View Full Version : Undersealing info/advice

Im planning on undersealing my nova in the next week providing this dam weather clears up.....

Any one got any tips or pointers that might be useful?

One thing i was thinking of doing was putting underseal inside the door on the bottom of it, leaving the drain hole in tact so water can get out OK, is this advisible?

Im assuming water getting in this area is what causes the doors to rust, and mine are in tip top shape and i want to keep them that way ;)

I think clear waxoyl is better for inside of panels like doors.

If you're applying underseal to the whole underneath of the car I'd strip all the original stuff off tbh.

Only apply it when the car is bone and i mean like dust dry!

^ What he said. Last thing you want to do is seal in damp!!
