View Full Version : Reluctant sale of my Nova GSi

I have decided to sell my nova because I dont have time or money for it anymore. :( She needs a bit of TLC to get it looking and feeling good, but that is reflected in the price


Engine Size: 1.6 8v e16
Registration Year: 1991 (H)
Mileage: 92300 ish

Description:

Exterior


The car is mistral grey. Bodywork in good condition overall. The arches are clean. A small scab on the drivers wing and some rust in the drivers door shut. A few stone chips on the paintwork here and there. Has had rear suspension mounts and battery tray welded. Looks like the seams have been repaired. Rear GM, Vaux, Opel mudflaps fitted.
FK coilovers fitted on fronts and have some for the rears, just not fitted.

Standard Gsi brakes - new brake lines throughout. Think a disc is warped slightly. I have 2l brakes with plenty of life left in them and front goodridge braided hoses, again, just not fitted.

Wheels
14 inch Astra GTE teardrop wheels with 185/65 rubber. 7 in total. 4 good condition with tyres and decent spare. The other 2 are not great tbh, they look they have been practiced being sprayed on.

Interior
Interior is in great nick. Standard gsi interior, electric windows No tears in bolsters. A small stitched repair on the rear bench. Carpets, A, B and C pillars sprayed matt black. Uncut parcel shelf. Old single c.d player.

Engine

1.6 8v e16se. Brand new dizzy + cap (£75) Pipercross air filter. Oil and filter along with the fuel filter replaced around 2k ago. Has some running problems. Runs a bit lumpy until its warmed up. Exhaust blowing around manifold and has an oil leak. Exhaust rattles occasionally near the handbrake.

Car has around 9 months MOT and tax till end of december. Have a strut brace from my corsa that will be included. Needs adjusting a little

EDIT: Forgot to add - Car has an immobiliser. i have loads of receipts and pretty much all the MOTs.

Literally just took these now as haven't got any pics of it.

Compomotives are negotiable, otherwise black cav fanblades with 195/45 tyres.

91k, good condition, elec heated mirrors, powersteering, elec windows, central locking, angel eyes, 256mm front brakes, lowered 40mm, scorpion cat back exhaust. Just some wuick pics can get more in daylight if interested.
I've got the standard suspension and lights etc.

Sold to me, shame he didnt mention that the fuel tank had a leak, maybe he didnt know as when it gets below 2/3rds it stops leaking. Hopefully its just a perished pipe, or I gotta source another fuel tank!
