headunit not saving settings!!

ive got a kenwood head unit, and its great, but when ever i turn my car off it loses all my bass, treble, vos etc.... and if im in the middle of a album , when i turn the key to go out again, its toltally stopped and i hav to reset absolutely everything! i know its sumthin to do with the way its wired at the back, just not sure how to go about stuff....

Its usually the same with all novas! Your ignition and permanent live is the opposite way around! The loom from the stereo should have connectors along each of these wires, just pull them apart and swap around so effectively ignition is going to permanent live! Although in reality it is ignition to ignnition and live to live!

Just look at the labeling on the wires or manual for which are which! Usually Yellow and Red!
