Cav Internal Shifter

Hey guys, i have read the *how to* on the internal shifte and have a few questions.

1. can you still fit the shifter to a 4 speed box, is there any need to restrict the shifter from going into 5th. and if it does slip that way will it damage the box or gears inside the box?

and mainly a cosmetic question. if i fitted it to my road car, is there anyway of hiding it? making it look nice. has anyone done this and if so pics please :d

Sure somone made a center console to hide it, was track car iirc so looks wasnt really a problem If its a 4 speed you cant slip over too far the gearbox wont physically move that far as theres no 5th to move to
