Front anti roll bar bushes?

cars almost up for mot and one of the front anti roll bar bushes has a bit to much movement. so was thinking of getting a whole set of poly bushes? problem is powerflex only do 16mm and 20mm but my anti roll bar is 17.5-18mm. went to local motor facters today and their suppliers don't do the standard 17.5 one any more :S where could i get poly bushes from? or even standard ones?

Take the anti roll bar off for the mot? Not sure its required tbh

i have a rally on the 28th and i want the car to be as good as it can be. and with a bush gone it won't be. :D

ah i see.......have you tried ringing powerflex? surely they could sort you out they sell bushes seperately

yeah he could only get me 16 or 20mm. which is to far away from what i need. i mite have to driff the 16 just over a mm bigger :s

Erm, IIRC ARB's are all the same diameter. Tie bars however differ in size. 16mm and 22mm.

the bush only sits on the arb though? iirc? or is it the other way round?

No. IIRC the bush goes around the tie bar and the brackets hold the ARB in place. IIRC. Hence why you can get 16mm and 22mm bushes.

I'd take it off. They promote understeer. Its a simple & crude design on a Nova. Not braced to the bulkhead or bodysheel atall.

tried it without it on but was to much with the lsd. find it handles better with it on. but i no what you mean :-)
