View Full Version : Signum...
Anyone got any experience of driving/owning a Diesel Signum?
What sort of size is the boot as i would be using it for work and would need to fit all my tools etc in there, was considering a 1 series bmw but heard the boot's are tiny so thats ruled that out.

sounds like you could do with a van more than a signum!!!!lol
There basicly a vectra so space isnt bad
I've got a Signum at the moment. It's the 2.2 petrol version and whilst it's not the quickest thing in the world, it's good enough as a family car. The boot is excellent as it's all nice and flat. The back seats fold down nice and level too giving you lots of extra boot space. Other than the performance I can't really fault the car.

Ive drove a signum, they fairly nice to drive and the boots are MASSIVE!
got a 09 plate smashed up one in work, they look a little cramped at the back mind lol :D
Sale me it rexton!
Been looking around there cheap as not too popular so wondered why, looked at the 3.0 V6 diesel but the power gains over the 1.9 150 is very minimal for the extra cc.
I know the elite are quite loaded too,

the boots big enough to put a couple of bodies in!:thumb:
Ben, best engine is the 1.9, get that remapped and you will be impressed, chris has a vectra 1.9 cdti and in gear the scooby can struggle against it. Mix that with on average 40+ usually 50 mpg and your onto a winner. Bigger is not always better :P
I cant sell it you as its going back out in a week lol, we also have some 90k's worth of lexus in at the moment. It would make you cry if i told you what panels are being replaced/repaired lol.
Yeah i like the 1900 rex and as said the price between the astra/vec etc that its fitted in the signum is a bargain.
you rate a boot by body count
you rate a boot by body count
Who doesn't  if you can get at least 5 adult body's in or 10 small children, buy it, you never know when it come in useful :thumb:
No i rate one by how many bombs i can fit in it lol
